Description: The building faces north and is a two story brown colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Crosbyton. The north front has a large portico supported by four high white colored columns rising from the first to second story. The pediment and the roofline have white colored trim. There are east and west wings extending from the building and having small one story porticos. The roof line is flat. In the interior, the County District Court courtroom is located at the center of the second story. The building houses the State District Court, Constitutional County Court and County Justice Court.

History: The county was created in 1874 and Estacado was selected as the county seat in 1886 when the county was organized. The first courthouse was a frame structure built burned in 1887 at a cost of $8,000. When Emma became the county seat in 1891, the courthouse was dismantled, moved and rebuilt as the second courthouse at a cost of $3000. In 1910, the county seat was moved to Crosbyton and the county met in the schoolhouse until the third and present courthouse was constructed in 1913 to 1914 at a cost of $38,000.
