Quebec became the 2nd Province on July 1, 1867.  Quebec City is the provincial capital.

Highest Point – Mount D’Iberville  at 1652 metres ( 5,420 feet ) is located along the northern boundary with Newfoundland and Labrador in the Quebec Nord Judicial District

Lowest Point  – Atlantic Ocean and  Hudson Bay ( sea level ) is located in the north part of the Province
