Description: The building faces north and is a two story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Hodgenville. The north front has an arch around the white colored entrance doorway. The building extends out towards the south side. On the center of the roof is a square tiered white colored cupola with pointed roof. The roof is hipped. The building houses the County Circuit Court and County District Court of the 10th Judicial Circuit. The building was renovated in 2017 with the addition of a front porch. On the south side is the one story red colored brick and concrete County Courthouse Annex. To the east is the Old County Jail built in 1904.

History: The county was created in 1843 and Hodgenville was selected as the county seat. The court first met in the Presbyterian meeting house in Hodgenville and in the Baptist Church. The first courthouse was built in 1843 to 1844. The second courthouse was built in 1866 and remodeled in 1892. The third and present courthouse was constructed in 1963 to 1964.
