Springdale was named after a freshwater spring in Wolf Cove

Description: The building faces south and is a one story white coloured sliding, wood frame and concrete structure. The building is located on sloping landscaped grounds on the northeast side of the centre of Springdale. The south front has a recessed porch. The roof is hipped. The building has a high concrete basement. The building ceased to service as a courthouse in 2004 and in 2006 the building was transferred to the Springdale Heritage Society.
Note: Prior to the construction of the courthouse, the court met upstairs at rental premises owned by George Warr Limited opposite the old United Church Cemetery.
