Nakusp is named for the Sinixt language “Neqo’sp” meaning “closed in” or “safe”.

Description: The building faces south and is a one story wood frame and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds. The basement is concrete with a wood frame structure above. The windows have red coloured trim. The south front has a central one story projecting entrance. The grey coloured roof is hipped. The building houses the Provincial Court.
