Description: The building faces north and is a two story red coloured stone structure. The building is located on the south side of Plaza de la Patria in the centre of Aquaclientes. The façade of red coloured tezontle (volcanic) stone. The building has hand carved pillars and an interior patio with a courtyard of arches and pillars around a sweeping stone staircase. There are murals painter by Chilean painter Oswaldo Barra, in 1961, which depicts all manner of mercantile scene. The building was the mansion of the Marques de Guadalupe and was built in 1665 for the Rincon Gallardo family.
