Description: The building faces northeast and is a one story white colored wood structure. The building is located on spacious landscaped grounds to the southeast of the center of Fort Kent. The northeast front has a projecting canopy at the central entrance with four columns. The roof is hipped with a small white colored cupola above the entrance. The courtrooms are located in the northern part of the building. The building originally served as a school.
