Description: The building faces south and is a three story buff colored brick, glass and concrete structure. The building is located on spacious landscaped grounds to the south of the center of West St Paul. The south front has a circular projecting entrance section. The roof line is flat. In the interior is the entrance lobby which rises to the third story. On the northwest side of the first story are the court facilities with two County District Court courtrooms. The building houses the County District Court of the 1st Judicial District. The building is named as the Dakota County Northern Service Center.

Description: The building faces east and is a three story red colored brick, concrete and glass structure. The building is located on spacious landscaped grounds in the center of Apple Valley. The east front has vertical concrete dividers between the vertical windows. The central entrance is a one story projection. On the south side is an extending wing. The roof line is sloped. In the interior is a large lobby extending up to the third story. The court facilities are located along the west side. There are three County District Court courtrooms. The building houses the County District Court of the 1st Judicial District. The building is named as the Dakota County Western Service Center.
