Description: The building faces east and is a three story limestone structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Springfield. The east front has an extended porch with four high columns rising to a wide header at the roof line. On the center of the roof is a round dome with copper top. The roof line is flat. The building houses the County Court of Common Pleas and County Court of Common Pleas – Probate Division. On the west side is the ten story brick and glass County Office Building designed by Kline – Meier and constructed in 1986 to 1988.

History: The county was created in 1817 and Springfield was selected as the county seat. The first courthouse was designed by Ambler & Fisher and built by Christie & Stewart in 1820 to 1828. The second courthouse was designed by Thomas J Tolan & Son of Fort Wayne, Indiana and the contractor was Nathaniel Cregar in 1881. The building was damaged by fire in 1918. The cost of construction of the present courthouse was $115,000 and parts of the exterior walls were saved from the 1918 fire and were reconstructed.

Description: The building faces east and is a two story buff colored brick, stone and concrete structure. The rectangular shaped building is located in the center of Springfield on the south side of the courthouse. The building has a raised red colored stone basement. The east front has a large central portico with large arch and recessed entrance. At the flat roof line is a large pediment. The building is the A B Graham Memorial Building and houses county offices. The building was renovated in 2019 to 2021.
