Description: The building faces north and is a two story cream colored concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Moulton. The center section projects from the main building and has four pillars rising to a wide header at the roof line. The north and south sides have the same central porches. The roof line is flat. The building houses the County Circuit Court of the 36th Judicial Circuit and the County District Court and County Probate Court.

Description: The building faces east and is a three story white and red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Moulton to the southwest of the courthouse. The building is named as the County Judicial and Administrative Center. The building houses the County Circuit Court of the 36th Judicial Circuit and the County District Court and County Probate Court.

Description: The building faces west and is a three story white and red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located in the center of Moulton. The west front has a projecting center section with glass entrance on the south side. The roof line is flat. The castle-like building was constructed as the county jail and in 1954 to 1955 was remodeled and converted into county offices. The architect was Paul W Hofferbert and Hugh Ellis and the contractor was R P Montgomery. The building was vacated in 1998. On the east side was the 1950 county jail. Both buildings were demolished in December 2024.
History: The county was created in 1818 and Moulton was selected as the county seat. The first courthouse was built in 1820 and burned on April 4, 1859. The second courthouse was designed and built by H H Higgins in 1860. The building was torn down in 1936. The third and present courthouse was constructed in 1936 to 1937. The County Judicial and Administrative Center was constructed in 2010 to 2012.
