Description: The building faces south and is a one story red colored brick and concrete structure. The south front has a central portico with four white colored columns rising to a pediment with fanlight at the roof line. The recessed door is arched with large arched windows on either side. He roof is hipped at the center section. The building extends east and west with a flat roof line. The building was remodeled in 1960. In 1973, the building was enlarged. The architect was Robert J Leary and the contractor was Milton L Hammond. The building was closed in 2025.

Description: The building faces west and is a three story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds to the southeast of the center of King George. The west front has a projecting center section with four high concrete columns supporting a portico. On the hipped roof is a cupola with dome. The main building on the east side has a projecting section at the center of the north and south sides and descends down a slope. The roof is hipped. In the interior is a General District Court courtroom and a Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court courtroom. The building houses the County Circuit Court, County General District Court and County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit.

History: The county was created in 1720 and Canning Farm at Dogue ( near the center of the county ) was selected as the county seat in 1721. The first courthouse was a simple structure built in 1721. In 1978 the county seat was moved to Shiloh ( Kings Highway near highway 301 ) and the court met at a meeting house neat Shiloh Baptist Church. In 1804 the county seat was moved to King George and the second, the second courthouse, a two story structure was built at 8383 Kings Highway. The third courthouse was constructed in 1922 to 1923 on the site of the second courthouse at a cost of $15,000. The fourth and present courthouse was constructed in 2022 to 2024 at a cost of $28,000,000.

Description: The building faces south and is a two story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is an “L” shape with a north and east wing. A one story porch extends part way along the north wing and along the east wing. red colored brick facing is on the first story. The roof id hipped. The building is located on the northeast side of the courthouse. The building was remodeled and converted in 1993 and 1994. The architect was The Moseley McClintock Group and the contractor was Sabre Construction Corporation.
