Description: The building faces south and is a two story course bluff colored stone and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds of Courthouse Square in the center of Mountain View. The south front has a central entrance on the first story with a small stone portico. The east and west wings project. The building has a sloped roof with dormer. In the interior the first story hallway runs east-west with stairs at either end. The ceiling has pressed metal. The County Circuit Court courtroom is located along the center of the south side of the second story and has paneled walls. The building houses the County Circuit Court of the 3rd Judicial District. To the northwest is the old two story stone County Jail.

Description: The building faces east and is a one story frame, stone and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds to the west of the center of Mountain View. The building is “T” shaped with the northeast front extending east and having stone work at the entrance. The roof is hipped. In the interior is the County Circuit Court courtroom is located on the south side. The building houses the County Circuit Court of the 3rd Judicial District.

History: The county was created in 1873 and Mountain View was selected as the county seat. The first courthouse was a log structure built in 1873. The second courthouse was a two story frame structure built in 1888. The third and present courthouse was constructed in 1923. The County Court Complex was constructed in 2016.
