Description: The building faces south and is a two story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Green Lake. The south front has a large portico supported by two white colored Ionic columns. On the east side is a small portico with square red colored brick pillars. There is a white colored stone base. A white colored horizontal band divided the first and second stories. In the interior, original wooden detail can be seen on the turned balusters which ornament the stairwells (including heavy carved newel posts), the door frames, baseboards, and elsewhere. The former courtroom is located at the center of the second story. The building is now the Town Square Community Center. On the north side is a two story red colored brick Courthouse North Annex. A two story buff colored brick Courthouse West Annex was added to the west side of the building in 1965. The architect was Sumner C Russell and the contractor was Colon Wallace Construction Company Inc.

County Government Center – Green Lake

Description: The building faces south and is a two story red brick, glass and concrete structure. The building is located on spacious landscaped grounds on the east side of the center of Green Lake. Located at the center of the south side is a concrete portico with raised glass second story and recessed entrance on the first story. On the west side is a rectangular two story section. On the north side is a large two story section. The roof line is flat. In the interior there are two County Circuit Court courtrooms along the west side of the second story of the north section. The building houses the County Circuit Court of the 4th Judicial District.

History: The county was created in 1858 and Dartford ( Green Lake ) was selected as the county seat. The first courthouse was built. The second courthouse was constructed in 1899 to 1900 at a cost of $25,000. The third and present courthouse was constructed in 2009 to 2011.
